The purpose behind this simple composition was to get more practice digitally inking and colouring my pencil sketches in Clip Studio Paint. I love drawing snow covered pine trees like this. I’ve also found when colouring these pieces that I’m really drawn to sunrise or sunset scenes. I love the colours and the long shadows of those times of day. Colouring a piece as if it is the middle of the day just doesn’t interest me.
